
Dr. Luke Haagsma
Dr. Luke joined Burkhart Chiropractic, PLC in January 2025 and is a recent graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. There, he graduated Magna Cum Laude, earned Palmer’s academic excellence award, served as a clinical teaching assistant, and was a nominee for the clinical excellence award. Dr. Luke graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Kinesiology. During his time at Calvin, he grew to love the West Michigan area, met his wife, and decided to plant roots in the area.
From 2019 to 2021, Dr. Luke’s spent time during his education at Calvin University working in neuro rehabilitation as a rehab technician. In the fall of 2024, Dr. Luke spent his preceptorship at Burkhart Chiropractic, earning certifications in spinal decompression and laser therapy. These experiences, along with his educational experience at Palmer College, developed his appreciation for the spine and its importance for healthy living.
Dr. Luke’s philosophy centers around treating the whole person, not just addressing symptoms, which allows him to deliver comprehensive care that promotes long-term health and wellness. He relies on up-to-date evidence and proven techniques to guide treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the most effective and safe care available.
